For over 70 years, Tropicana has served delicious fruit juice. In 2017, they launched a new range of Fruit Dessert for their French market. An entirely new way to consume fruit in the world of Tropicana. A big deal for the brand known for its iconic red and white striped straw.
To celebrate this launch, our activation idea was to create a dessert spoon as unique as the straw. Working with an internationally recognised design company, the inspiration for design was based on the way a spoon looks when dipped into the fruit dessert. Coating and branding the head of the spoon. This way we could repurpose and recycle any spoon. Transforming and welcoming ALL spoons to Tropicana.
Our intention was to send special packages of spoons and samples to influencers, distribute them to the public through a partnership with Deliveroo, and custom dip spoons for people at events serving the new Fruit Dessert.
Only after the spoons were produced, legal announced they did not want to distribute the spoons to the public and ended the project.
